Course Schedule

Please note that each class is subject to change.
This means the location and time could vary week to week. Also due to classes being held outside, in the event of inclement weather, the class in question will likely be canceled and rescheduled for the following week. All this considered, the schedule will be actively updated so we encourage handlers to check the schedule at least several hours prior to class begining.

And when in doubt, just reach out.

We’ve been bringing our dog Ace to group training classes, and the progress he’s made, even in just a few sessions, has been incredible. The structured environment, corrective lessons and small class size have made a huge difference. We’ve not only seen improvement in Ace’s behaviour, but we’ve also learned the tools and techniques to continue the training at home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Putting Your Mind At Ease.

  • In general, you’ll need a standard 6-foot leash (no retractable), a flat collar or harness, plenty of high-value treats, and a treat pouch. We may recommend additional tools depending on your dog’s needs (ex. muzzle or prong collar).

    Cultured Canine Course

You will require a minimum of a 20-foot lead for recall training in addition to the general list above.

    Reactive Rover Course

Due to differing reactions each dog may present, some additional equipment may be required at the discretion of the trainer. This will be determined during your phone consultation prior to joining.

  • In general, our courses address a range of behaviours including pulling on leash, jumping, poor recall, reactivity, leash aggression, fear-based behaviours, and more. We focus on building real-world obedience and improving your dog’s emotional responses.

Specific behaviours addressed can vary depending on which course you take.

  • We keep our bi-weekly class sizes small to ensure everyone gets personalized attention and the space needed for safe, effective learning.

    Cultured Canine Course

Up to 10 dogs max per class.

    Reactive Rover Course

Up to 6 dogs max per class.

  • No you cannot, each class within either course builds upon the previous class. As such, we do not permit drop-ins.

  • Classes are always held outdoors as it allows us to include real-world environments for better exposure. In addition, it allows a safe amount of space for handlers to learn new skills amongst a group of other dogs.

  • We encourage anyone who will be a direct and engaged handler in your dogs life. Most often this means anyone within the same household is welcome to come.

That said, if additional members are not actively engaged…they may be asked to not attend moving forward. This ensures that everyone in attendance is focused and getting the most out of each class for your dog (and other dogs in the course).

  • Although we understand that life happens and have compassion for everyone we work with, due to the nature of these courses…we don’t offer make-up classes. You’ll still receive any homework, materials, and trainer support so you can stay on track.

No refunds will be provided at any point for missed classes.

  • You can begin the resignation process online by filling out our form on our contact page. From here we will reach out to have a brief 15-minute consultation about the needs of your dog.

If you just don’t know where to start, please call us at: (613) 214-0217. We’re happy to chat about your dog’s behaviour and goals to recommend the best course for success.
